    The Rallye Monte-Carlo's organisers have changed the initially announced 2015 timetable. Shakedown will now take place south of Gap on Wednesday, January 21, while the final leg on Sunday, January 25, has been revised with a menu of three stages: Le Col Saint Jean-Saint Laurent (SS13/15, 11km) and Bollène Vésubie-Sospel (SS14, 31.66km).

    Cyprus Rally (ERC): Poland's Kajetan Kajetanowicz (Ford/Michelin) wrapped up Day 1 in Cyprus in first place, ahead of Yazeed Al-Rajhi (Ford, +3.8s) and Abdulaziz Al-Kuwari (Ford, +28.4s). Craig Breen (Peugeot) is sixth - more than two minutes back - after suffering a variety of mechanical problems (anti-lag system, power steering). Nasser Al-Attiyah (Ford) has retired (mechanical).

    Cyprus Rally (ERC): The super-special in Nicosia was won by Yazeed Al-Rajhi (Ford/Michelin), ahead of Robert Consani and Khalid Al-Qassimi. Breen (6th) and Al-Attiyah (7th) dropped around 10 seconds to the leaders.

    WRC (Rallye de France, Oct 2-5): 97 entries received, including three Polo R WRCs (for Ogier, Latvala, Mikkelsen), two DS3 WRCs (Meeke, Ostberg), three i20 WRCs (Neuville, Sordo, Bouffier) and eight Fiesta RS WRCs (Hirvonen, Evans, Kubica, Kuipers, Protasov, Solberg, Prokop, Maurin), plus Kevin Abbring (Peugeot 208 T16), Romain Dumas and François Delecour (Porsche 997 GT3), nine WRC-2 drivers and 12 WRC-3/JWRC runners!

    The 2014 Baja Poland was won by Pole Krzysztof Hołowczyc (Mini/Michelin) and his new co-driver Xavier Panseri. Nasser Al-Attiyah (Toyota) retired with suspension failure but is still second in the World Cup standings, behind Russia's Vasiliev.

    The 30 entries for the 2014 Rally Australia (September 11-14) include WRC cars for Ogier, Latvala and Mikkelsen (VW), Meeke and Ostberg (Citroën), Hirvonen, Evans and Kubica (Ford), and Neuville, Atkinson and Paddon (Hyundai). The WRC-2 list includes Al-Rahji, Protasov, Tanak, Ketomaa, Al-Attiyah and Bertelli

    ERC, Barum Rally Zlin (after Day 1): the multiple Czech champion Vaclav Pech (Mini/Michelin) has emerged in front, chased by Sepp Wiegand (Skoda, +54.1s) and Tomas Kostka (Ford, +1m12.7s). The provisional ERC leader Esapekka Lappi (Skoda, crash), Craig Breen (Peugeot, crash damage) and Kevin Abbring (Peugeot, mechanical) have all retired. The Junior standings are topped by Andrea Crugniola, ahead of Stéphane Lefebvre (+22.8s).

    Last weekend, the nine-time world rally champion Sébastien Loeb took part in an enduro race in France (the Aveyronnaise Classic) but preferred to stop when he sustained a small ankle injury in a fall on Day 1. The next round of the World Touring Car Championship is in China at the beginning of October.

    ERC (Geko Rally Ypres): Kevin Abbring (Peugeot 208 T16/Michelin) completed the first day in Belgium in front, ahead of the event's eight-time winner Freddy Loix (Skoda, +24.8s) and the ERC's provisional leader Esapekka Lappi (Skoda, +39.1s). Peugeot's Craig Breen is 7th (+1m58.9s).

    Bryan Bouffier and Xavier Panseri notched up the Hyundai i20 WRC/Michelin's first success by winning last weekend's Rallye d'Antibes-Côte d'Azur. A shrewd tyre choice in a rain storm gave them a decisive edge over Maurin/Klinger (Ford Fiesta RS WRC).

    After missing Rally Argentina for health reasons, Yazeed Al-Rajhi won the recent Rallye des Pharaons in a Toyota Hilux/Michelin, ahead of Nasser Al-Attiyah who lost time with a navigational error. Al-Rajhi is now second in the FIA Cross Country Rally World Cup, behind Russia's Vladimir Vasyliev.

    ERC (SATA Rallye Açores): Portugal's Bernardo Sousa (Fiesta RRC) leads after Day 2, ahead of Kevin Abbring (Peugeot 208, +6.3s). The latter's team-mate Craig Breen was in front until he retired with mechanical trouble late in the day.

    Round four of the FIA Cross-Country World Cup (the Sealine Cross-Country Rally in Qatar) was won by Nasser Al-Attiyah/Matthieu Baumel (Mini All4 Racing/Michelin) ahead of Vasiliyev/Zhiltsov (Mini) who still tops the championship. Next round: Rallye des Pharaons (Egypt).
